Our Story
AEO Scanner was founded in 2025 by Viktor as the first product of Convrgent, a company building AI-native tools for the new search economy. The idea came from a simple observation: AI search engines like ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude were rapidly replacing traditional Google and Bing queries as the primary discovery channel, but no tool existed to tell a site owner whether AI could actually find, understand, and cite their website. Gartner research from 2024 projected that traditional search traffic would drop 25 percent by 2026 as consumers shifted to AI chatbots and virtual agents for information retrieval, creating an urgent need for tools that measured the new citation factors instead of legacy SEO metrics.
Every existing tool in the market either tracked whether a brand appeared in AI responses through monitoring dashboards priced at 500 dollars per month or more, or ran surface-level checks like free scanners that flagged robots.txt permissions and stopped there without diagnosing deeper issues. Nobody diagnosed the root causes of AI invisibility across structured data, brand narrative consistency, citable passage formatting as defined by the Princeton 2024 GEO research, and agent interoperability through llms.txt and OpenAPI specifications, and nobody generated the exact copy-paste code to fix each detected gap. AEO Scanner by Convrgent fills that gap with 64-plus checks across 12 categories, three independent scores covering AEO plus GEO plus Agent Readiness dimensions, and a SKILL.md output file that Claude Code can execute autonomously to apply every recommendation.

Team
Viktor is the founder of Convrgent, building AI-native products at the intersection of search visibility, personality intelligence, and agent commerce. He conceived AEO Scanner after recognizing that the shift from traditional search to AI-generated answers required entirely new optimization tools — not retrofitted SEO.

What AEO Scanner Does
AEO Scanner scans any website and delivers three independent scores: an AEO Score measuring AI search engine visibility, a GEO Score evaluating AI citation readiness, and an Agent Readiness Score assessing how well AI agents can interact with the site. The scanner runs 64+ checks across 12 categories and generates personalized fix code specific to each site.
Every fix includes actual code — JSON-LD schemas, meta tags, robots.txt rules, llms.txt files — populated with the site's real business data. Users can copy-paste fixes directly or drop the AI fix file into Claude Code for automatic implementation. No developer needed.
